Durham is about 2.5 hours from both the Buffalo/Niagara and Sarnia/Port Huron borders. You can read something about the area at Wikipedia.

Latest information: Detailed driving directions to Durham and the race sites, as well as course setter's notes. Start times are posted in the latter, which also includes a link to a document showing how to get to the race start/finish areas from the car parks.

With the good weather being predicted, please note that camping is available at Durham Conservation Area, which is the location of the sprint (the red pin on the map below).

The map on the right shows the locations of the three races. Clicking on a pin on the larger map gives more details, including the latitude and longitude (for those of you with GPSs). You can also ask for driving directions to or from the events.

If you have it installed, try clicking here to view the map in Google Earth.

SPORTident will be used for this event. For those who have not already purchased a SPORTident e-card, they will be available for sale or rent.

Eligibility: These races are open to all-comers, but to place in the Ontario Championships you need to be a resident of Ontario, and be a paid up member of the Canadian Orienteering Federation (COF). Membership in your local club often gets you the latter.
