Plan for the Day
Basic instructions on map and compass (15 minutes) for beginnners.
Group training (max 6 people/group) - beginner/intermediate level skills - with Stars coaching staff (approximately 35-45 minutes), including map reading, contour reading, route choice.
There will be 3 courses (approx 2.5 km each), for practicing simplifying reading the map (A) , fewer trails (B), and novice course (C). These courses were planned by Peter and Ilona Dobos and are part of the 2007 inter-club training.
Directions
Use 401, and exit north at Guelph Line (exit 312) -- but Nick will provide detailed instructions when you register.
